Hey everyone!!


I've been gone for so long, consumed by school and work, and finally we're starting a new term. That means I have a bit of room to breathe this weekend!

Let me just apologize for my absence, and lacking of my usual dA involvments. Notes, contests, and of course - random uploads have been hard to factor into the hectic schedule I've been living by. BUT - afer this weekend I'm going to make a point of coming on and clearing out messeges and deviations every day or two. I miss you guys!

On another note!!
I'm getting my hair DREADED next weekend, and I couldn't be more excited about it!! The unfortunate thing about dreads is that many people have the wrong idea about them, as well as the level of maitenance that they take. The reaction I've been geting the most is somewhere along these lines;;
'Oh NO!! That's GROSS! You're going to STINK and get BUGS and then have to SHAVE YOUR HEARD ... BALD!!!!'

Let me just say - dreads done professionaly are not unsanitary. Anyone who knows me should know that I'd never do something that would put me at risk of being dirty. That's not how I roll, man.

ACTUALLY - Did you know that the method used in professional dreading is just like FELTING your hair??! How frekin cool is that!!? Considering I'm specialized in textiles this year, this hairstyle is really going to be perfect! I've never dyed it, and I hate getting it cut, so I think I'm really going to like it.
Any ways, I'll be sure to get lots of pictures, and probably a new ID once I've got them done Any info, questions, comments, concerns are appreciated
